instrument making day (JFIS), at Itemm
I participated to the instrument making day (Journée Facture instrumentale et Science, in french) at a training and research center: Itemm (Institut technologique européen des métiers de la musique). It was a special opportunity which gave us the possibility to interact an entire day with instrument makers and their problematics. Juliette Chabassier (CR, Inria), Augustin Humeau (Baroque instrument maker) and me presented the software we are currently working on: OpenWind. I hope there will be an official release soon! In the morning, we gave a vulgarized scientific presentation and in the afternoon we demonstrated our input impedance measurement setup.
